Privacy Policy
Raab LLC (“we,” “us”) operates Spirate (the “Service”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in (for example, with Google), we receive your name and email address to identify your account.
- Content you capture. The notes, tasks, and other text you enter or dictate into the Service, and the items we create from it.
- Connected-account data. When you connect a service such as Google, we access only the data needed to provide the Service — for example, reading and writing your calendar events, tasks, and contacts — within the permissions you grant.
- Billing information. Subscription and payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited billing status information from Stripe.
- Usage and technical data. Basic logs and diagnostics needed to run the Service securely and reliably.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: to capture, classify, organize, and route your items into your connected accounts.
- To process your subscription and send service-related messages, such as your morning brief.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, under agreements that protect your data:
- Google — for the connected-account features you enable.
- Anthropic — the AI provider that processes your text to classify and route it. Your content is sent to Anthropic’s API only to perform these tasks.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloudflare — hosting and infrastructure.
- Resend — sending the emails you ask us to send, such as your brief.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the Service.
Google user data
Spirate’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you request, we do not transfer or sell it for advertising or other unrelated purposes, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security, to comply with law, or where the data is aggregated and anonymized.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect any connected account at any time, and you can cancel your subscription and request deletion of your data by emailing us. On deletion, we remove your content from our systems, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, for tax or legal compliance).
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption of connected-account credentials and access controls that isolate each user’s data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can access and update your account information, disconnect connected accounts, and request deletion of your data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information; contact us to exercise them.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and will update the date above.
